Privacy

Short version: the store collects what it needs to put your name on a contract and get you your files, and nothing more.

What is collected

When you buy a licence: your name, email address and billing address, because they are stamped onto the licence agreement and are what makes it enforceable. When you join the mailing list: your email address only. When you send a message: your name, email and what you wrote.

Why it is collected

To generate your licence agreement, deliver your files, answer your message, and, if you asked for it, tell you when new beats go up. Nothing else.

Who else sees it

The payment processor handling the transaction, the email provider delivering your files, and the mailing list provider if you subscribed. None of them sell it. Your details are never sold or rented to anybody.

How long it is kept

Order records and the agreements generated from them are kept for as long as the licence is in force, because both sides may need to produce them. Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe, which is one click in every email.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Order records tied to a live licence are the one exception, because deleting them would remove the proof that you cleared the beat.

Cookies

The store keeps your cart in your own browser so it survives a refresh. That is local to your device and is never sent anywhere.
